Normoxic Trimix Diver & Normoxic Trimix Plus Diver 

This Program is designed to train those who wish to dive to depths between 130 fsw (39 msw) and 233 fsw (70 msw), but who do not wish to breathe air below 130 fsw (39 msw). This Program is further designed to train divers in the safer use helium-based gas mixtures.

How deep can you dive with the IANTD Normoxic Trimix Diver Program?

No dives may be conducted to depths greater than 200fsw (60msw).

How deep can you dive with the IANTD Normoxic Trimix Plus Diver Program?

No dives may be conducted to depths greater than 233fsw (70msw).

What do you need to enroll in this program?

  • IANTD Advanced EANx Diver or higher or equivalent.

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years old.

  • Must provide proof of a minimum of 100 logged dives, of which at least 30 were deeper than 90 fsw (27 msw).

What is the minimum materials requirements?

Technical Diver

This Program is designed to train divers to conduct dives to depths between 100 fsw (30 msw) and, at the instructor’s option, up to 170 fsw (51 msw) using custom blend breathing gas mixtures. To provide greater understanding of custom blend breathing gas mixtures, a complete knowledge of the limits of any EANx mixture, and the use of EANx and oxygen for decompression. The knowledge and skills taught in this program are more than adequate to qualify divers to perform dives outside of training up to 170 fsw (51 msw).

How deep can you dive with the IANTD Technical Diver Program?

No dives may be conducted to depths greater than 170 fsw/51msw.

What do you need to enroll in this program?

  • A minimum of 18 years of age or higher.

  • Must be qualified in IANTD Advanced EANx Diver or equivalent

  • Proof of a minimum of 100 logged dives, of which at least 30 were deeper than 90 fsw (27 msw).

What is the minimum materials requirements?

Trimix Diver

This Program is designed for those individuals already involved in deep diving activities, but is not intended to be used as an enticement to divers who are content to remain in Sport or EANx diving limits.

How deep can you dive with the IANTD Trimix Diver Program?

No dives may be conducted to depths greater than 330fsw (100msw).

What do you need to enroll in this program?

  • IANTD Technical Diver, Technical Cave Diver, Technical Wreck Diver, Normoxic Trimix Diver or equivalent.

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years old.

  • Must provide proof of a minimum of 200 logged dives, of which at least 25 were to depths between 140 fsw (42 msw) and 200 fsw (60 msw).

What this program must include?

Expedition Trimix Diver

his program is designed to train Divers already involved in deep diving activities to more safely conduct exploration dives requiring extended decompression profiles and helium-based gas mixture.

How deep can you dive with the IANTD Expedition Trimix Diver Program?

No dives may be conducted to depths greater than 400fsw (120msw).

What do you need to enroll in this program?

  • Must be a qualified IANTD Trimix Diver equivalent.

  • Must be a minimum of 21 years old.

  • Must provide proof of at least 300 dives of which 100 were Trimix dives.

What is the minimum materials requirements?

  • IANTD Expedition Trimix Diver Student Kit.

What this program must include?

  • Academic Sessions

  • Confined Water Sessions

  • Open Water Sessions
